6/4/19 - Smelt, YUM! and Galaxy Tea?

Hey, hEy, HeY!!!

Let's talk about SMELT! Who hasn't eaten smelt before? Well..... normally I've seen people deep fried them like shrimp tempera, but I decided to up it with FLAVOR! Smelt is on the same level as sardines and anchovies.

I deep fried it with flour and eggs and pan fried it with sweet soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce, tomatoes, cilantro, and green onions.  It turned out GREAT! perfectly sweet and salty. What do you think?

Moving on to........ Bubble Tea!!! ~YES~

The closest bubble tea shop near me is "Sencha!" I had a guest living with me a while ago, so my guest and I decided to go grab some bubble tea.  They had a new flavor, "Galaxy Tea!" I couldn't resists the temptation of its look.  It looked too mesmerizing not to get!  Therefore, I bought it and tried it. The first sip was delicious, afterwards, the sweetness disappeared 😮! It felt like a galaxy far, far away, slowly disappearing into nothingness. I would not get this again but it definitely looked cool!
